As Rachel Zoe once said: “Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.” That is exactly how I feel about fashion. Fashion is so complex in a way that you can communicate with others just by what you are wearing. Style not only makes you look fabulous, but it also boosts self-confidence by giving you that extra push to go out there and put 100 percent in what you do.
My name is Misun Lee and I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. I am a senior at Pennsylvania State University majoring in Media Studies with a minor in French. This will be my fourth and last semester as a Style Guru with CollegeFashionista and I am so excited to come back as I finish my last semester here! I have a huge passion for fashion, music, travel and culture as they have quickly become my greatest inspirations in life. As I mentioned, I love traveling and the contrast between styles across different countries has given me a whole new perspective on fashion. Your own style is what you make of it and there is no right, wrong or bad. Being a Style Guru has helped me tremendously in so many ways, including my writing, style, confidence and being able to scope out new trends. This opportunity has given me a chance to learn the backends of a publishing platform, improve my photography and writing and the overall experience of working with an awesome fashion website!
