Hello fellow Fashionistas/os! My name is Micaela Resh, and I am currently a student at the University of Minnesota. I just wrapped up my sophomore year, studying Professional Journalism, Spanish Studies and Sustainability Studies. I have a thing for words, culture and the outdoors.
As a Style Guru at CollegeFashionista, it is my goal to showcase the style savvy streets of the Twin Cities. When I am not scouting out trends, I am writing for the Minnesota Daily as an Arts & Entertainment reporter. There’s never a dull day covering fashion, food and music.
Here are a few tidbits to give you a sneak peak into my life… The coffee addiction is real, but I’m embracing it and sipping on cup number three of the day. My inner hopeless romantic is a sucker for any ‘80s John Hughes movie. Carrie Bradshaw is my epitome of perfection, tulle skirt and all. I believe everything is better on the beach. My best memories from growing up around the lake. To de-stress from the woes of college life I love yoga or trying out new recipes in the kitchen (they balance each other out, right?).
On the daily, my style is best described as boho babe with a little edge and a lot of class. While you can never go wrong with couture, my favorite gems in my closet are thrift shop finds. Today, I am wearing a coral shift dress, brown leather wedges and a breezy fedora.
