Why hello there, you beautiful souls!
Yes, that was a Jesse McCartney reference! I’m Megan, but my friends call me Chase. I’m currently in my final year of journalism school at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada and I must say, I am loving it. I’m a huge fan of writing, which is why journalism is the perfect fit for me. One of my housemates even asked me, “Is all you do write?”
When it comes to fashion I believe in five things: simplicity, sequins, feathers, personality and fur. I have a degree in fashion business and marketing, so let’s just say it’s been an industry I’ve always wanted to get into. I have my own blog and write for Gay Weddings Magazine (it helps in making sure I’m not a voluntary vegetarian for the month haha), as well as having been an editor for a few online publications.
I adore many things like acoustic music, fashion week, Harry Potter and snail mail. Acoustic music just… makes me feel. Fashion week is just the best time of the year for me — while it may be chock-full of work and there may not be enough time to eat as I may like, I sacrifice for love. Coffee is the other love of my life. I cannot go a day without it, although most people who know me say I cannot go more than an hour without! Lastly, I have an African dwarf frog named DJ, and if you follow me for my behind-the-scenes adventures, you’ll definitely meet him!
