Hello Fashionistas! My name is Meaghan O’Neill, one of CollegeFashionista’s newest additions to the Style Guru family. I am currently a sophomore attending Sacred Heart University, located in Fairfield Connecticut. I am currently a marketing major with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising. I also hold a position in my sorority as our fashion chairman. This position allows me create new designs which will be worn by the entire chapter. Fashion and photography are my world, and I am excited to share my world with you.
As a young girl, I knew I had a passion for fashion, which sparked whenever I saw the endless amount of shoes in Macy’s. However, acquiring my very own style took years. Having four older sisters allowed me to see all different aspects of fashion and develop my own style. Style speaks a thousands words. Style brings out the inner person in ways that words cannot. Style makes each individual his or her own person.
My style is unique and my own. Black is a go to of mine, finished up with matte lipstick and of course Steve Madden booties.
As Coco Chanel once said, “In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different”. These words could not have been said any better. As trends fade, we tend to follow the crowd and change because of society. Why not be different? The world of fashion has so much to offer, why not explore?
I am privileged to have this opportunity to showcase my view of the fashion world through my own outfits, along with other college students. I am excited for you to join me in a semester full of fashion tips and trendsetting.
