Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Marrina Weimer and this is my fifth semester with CollegeFashionista. I am a junior at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. I love writing my articles each month along with taking pictures of all of the Fashionistas and Fashionistos I find on campus.
My absolute favorite part about this internship is stopping people randomly and asking them if I can take their pictures because of their outfit being super trendy and different. Their reactions are priceless. I have gotten “wait, who me?”, “ummm yeah sure” and “ OMG that is so cool that you do this internship and of course you can take my pictures. I would love to be a model for a day.” I love making people’s day and learning from their style. There are typically pieces that the Fashionista is wearing that I love and, of course, NEED. So I am always sure to ask where they get, whatever it may be, from so that I can go out and purchase it.
I love all types of trends. I love bohemian looks along with street style pieces. I mix a variety of trends together in order to create my own look. I do not like copying an outfit in its entirety from another person or from a magazine. I think everyone should step outside of their comfort zone and throw their own twist on each and every outfit they wear.
Being that I am in college like a lot of you who may be reading this, I understand that it is difficult to have the energy and time to put an outfit together. Well, that is what I am here for. I am here to provide you with the latest trends that I find around campus along with helpful hints when it comes to putting an outfit together quickly and without too much thought.
