Hi! My name is Maria. I’m a freshman at Duquesne University, where I’m majoring in math and computer science.
I absolutely love trying out new braids and hairstyles. I love attempting the super-chic hairstyles I find on Pinterest and Instagram. I also love trying out different makeup looks. One series on my YouTube channel is “Trying Out Pinterest Hairstyles.” They’re super fun to film and edit. Today, I’m wearing my signature half bun!
I absolutely love living in downtown Pittsburgh. There are tons of amazing places to take photos. There are thousands of beautiful backgrounds and I use the city to inspire my style. Whether it’s the weather or the beauty, Pittsburgh always provides me with a new challenge when it comes to style. My friends are a huge part of my inspiration, too!
One fun fact about me is that I love sunglasses. One unusual fact about me is that I absolutely hate to wear sunglasses on my face; I only wear them in my hair! My favorite place to buy them is the DollarTree because I always lose them. I hate spending huge amounts of money on them! Forever 21 also has a ton of cute yet reasonably priced sunglasses. Besides sunglasses, I love bracelets—Lokai, PuraVida and Alex and Ani are some of my favorites! Earrings are amazing because they are so simple yet elegant.
Today, I’m wearing one of my favorite outfits. T-shirt dresses are my new favorite trend. I love cross-body bags too! Sandals like these are my favorite kind of shoe for the summer. They’re perfect for every occasion!
