Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Mallory Manz and this is my first time writing as a Style Guru. I am an incoming junior at Slippery Rock University where I study public relations with a minor in business administration. Aside from spending my time in Slippery Rock, PA nine months out of the year, I live in Pittsburgh, PA where I will be posting all the latest and hottest trends this summer.
When it comes to my personal style, I like to be bold yet chic at the same time. My style icon is and always will be Audrey Hepburn, and when it comes to this outfit, I like to think that it truly represents her. I love dressing up, and if I could do it everyday, I would. When it comes to styling an outfit for me, I feel like it is a puzzle. Once you have all the pieces, you have made the perfect outfit. My go-to items in this outfit are: patterned jogger pants and lace tops. Then to give this outfit a major summer vibe, I added a hat with some opened toe wedges. To complete the look, I added some statement jewelry, sunglasses and my favorite Steve Madden bag. Even though there is a lot of black in this outfit, the jogger pants give a pop of color making it a perfect go-to outfit.
Growing up in a city, you see so many different types of fashion which has made a huge impact on me in so many different ways. Every day, I learn something new about fashion and I project that in my personal fashion blog Pretty in Paris. Fashion has given me so much confidence over the years and I cannot wait to showcase all the city trends Pittsburgh has to offer!
