It’s the last year of your undergrad career, what do you? Take a deep breath in, hold it, freak out and then jump around in a frenzy. The reality of the future lies heavily on your shoulders as you realize you’re not a fresh-faced incoming freshman. Now we have to make every little bit count. Surely, I am back as a Style Guru and I am at your service whilst simultaneously applying to law schools, studying for the LSATs, working out (fit for 2013?!) and remembering to have fun. Breathe out.
As said in the past, I have this slight obsession over menswear (and girls in menswear) and I am happy to be writing the LET’S HEAR IT FOR THE BOYS column for Binghamton University. Let’s just say I am also exhilarated due to the fact that I am writing for the fall semester as Fall is my FAVORITE season for fashion. With fall and winter, come layers and darker colors. With my sometimes dark and brooding moods, this season is highly fitting when dressing myself. Speaking of brooding moods, you will probably find me meandering on campus wearing typically black, gray or white. For the past few days in Chicago, I’ve been shamelessly living in this T by Alexander Wang slubby pocket shirt, a pair of black shorts (one of my favorite purchases this summer being this structured, infamous “blogger’s favorite” Zara skort), and a pair of athletic shoes such as these lust-worthy Air Max Thea shoes from Nike.
Over the course of this internship, I have grown to appreciate individualism amongst my peers. I have stalked the campus for good CollegeFashionista material, seeing the transitioning of seasons and styles; though, guys in kicks or good ole oxfords never cease to disappoint. As a style stalker, I mean guru, I hope to bring a fresh start to your semester for those days where you just have no clue as to what you want to wear. I am ready to take on this season’s menswear fashion and shamelessly style stalk for your viewing pleasures!
