As a senior at the University at Albany, I cannot believe this is my last semester in college, let alone my fifth and final semester writing for CollegeFashionista! I am a Music Theory and Communications double major with an ever-changing style in fashion. I am so excited to be writing this semester because I love the drastic change in outfits as we transition from winter to spring.
While I enjoy winter fashion as much as the next person, I am a true summer girl at heart and am counting down the days until I can pull out my spring and summer wardrobe. To get through these next few chilly months I’ll stick to oversized sweaters, combat boots and many cozy scarves. When the warm sun starts peeking out from behind the clouds in the springtime, I will be rocking sundresses and shorts faster than you can say “CollegeFashionista!” My favorite outfit for spring has to be a neutral pair of linen pants with a tank and jean jacket on top. In the hot summer months, nothing is better than a sundress whether it is a maxi or short and flowy. No matter the temperature outside, I always stick to my everyday jewelry choices, which includes a green pendant necklace, silver stud earrings and many silver rings.
Just as I did during my first semester with CollegeFashionista, this semester I will be writing on Fridays for ACCESSORIES REPORT! I am thrilled to have my experience come full circle and to capture to accessory trends students are wearing on the UAlbany campus. Get ready Fashionistas/os, I am searching high and low for your standout styles!
