STYLE GURU BIO: Lina Lintemuth

I would love to say that I’ve always had an excellent fashion sense, but truth be told, there are a lot of pictures from my childhood and middle school days that would make me a liar for saying so. Instead, I’ll just say that my love of fashion evolved with the introduction of Pinterest in to my life, as well as high school snow days filled with The Devil Wears Prada on a continuous loop.

Currently, I’m a student at  Ferris State University in the College of Business studying public relations. Though I’ll admit that I still excessively play that beloved movie more than I should, I have a lot less time to do so now. That fact doesn’t stop me from pursuing my love of fashion in my free time.

I still rely heavily on Pinterest to try to put all of my fashion inspiration in the same place, but I’ve expanded my reach considerably, which is how I ended up here as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista.

I can’t say that my style can be put in to a category, because just like my music taste, I pretty much love it all. For this shoot specifically, I chose to go with  a fun boho look. I’ve had this flower crown for years, and it’s one of my favorite accessories that I rarely get to wear. Not to mention, it’s not very often that you can wear a dress outside in December here in Michigan without getting frostbite, so I took full advantage and paired them with my favorite booties of this season.

Ferris State University is a small town campus with a whole lot of student variety and fashion inspiration to offer, and I can’t wait to go through this RAD semester with all of you!
