Hello! My name is Lexy Rahim and I am absolutely ecstatic about being a Style Guru this fall. I am a lover of all things fashion and beauty. As you may have noticed from my photos, black is my favorite color to wear and what I feel most myself in. Simple, classic, yet trendier pieces are what I gravitate towards day in a day out. I believe in wearing what I feel most confident and comfortable in.
My black dress is from Lulus; a trendy girls heaven. It is a tad more dressy than your average T-shirt dress, but not super fancy. My sandals follow two prevalent trends that many girls today are following. These black chunky heel, lace-up sandals are some of my favorite shoes to wear. They are an item that can dress up an outfit without any effort. Throw it on with an outfit like what I am wearing above, or a pair of distressed jeans and your favorite black T-shirt.
As for accessories, my hat is a black wide brim hat from Free People. I am usually just a baseball hat type of girl, but decided this hat would allow me to step out of my comfort zone. I did just that. My watch is a staple in my every day wardrobe. It is a classic gold Movado watch that was a gift from my parents. Items like these will never go out of style. My bracelets are Alex and Ani. I have collected these for over a year now and they have become an item that I cannot live without. Not only are they cute and make cute touches to the arm, but also have different meanings marked in the charms that can spice up an outfit.
Fashion is something that is all about self expression. When it comes to fashion, I have learned that being yourself is most important. Everyone has their own personal style with the ability to express themselves through their appearance. That is something that I admire so much. Fashion is different for everyone. I love developing my personal style and seeing others do the same.
