Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! I am excited for my first semester experience of being a CollegeFashionista Style Guru. I am originally from Birmingham, Michigan, but I am currently a senior at Central Michigan University majoring in fashion merchandising and design. When I am not learning about fashion in school, I spend a lot of my time shopping looks online and seeing what outfits my fellow classmates are wearing.
I am in love with all things fashion and am excited to express my passion throughout my CollegeFashionista Style Guru internship experience. I will be roaming the streets of New York for the first time this summer for an internship. I hope to gain a better sense of urban fashion trends and to expand my style horizon. I feel it is important to stay true to your sense of style, while also getting inspiration from others. I tend to dress based on my mood, but I still keep it on the fashionable side.
My look consists of my favorite go-to pieces in my closet that I feel most comfortable and confident in. I am wearing a leather jacket, cashmere sweater, bracelets, watch, a beanie and platform sneakers. My favorite way to accessorize an outfit is by pairing it with jewelry, hats and a dark lipstick to complete my look. I am currently obsessed with a good leather jacket and leather boots. They are timeless pieces that I will continue to rock and add to my wardrobe. When in doubt, I like to think you can’t go wrong with wearing all-black!
