Hey! My name is Kera Bussey-Sims is this is my fourth (holy cow) semester with CollegeFashionista! I am currently a rising junior at Ohio Wesleyan University where I am majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and minoring in Mandarin Chinese. If you have read my previous STYLE GURU BIOS you might know that majors have been a dicey subject for me. I think I’ve had a different major for every STYLE GURU BIO so far, but I think I finally found something I can stick with (you’re welcome, Mom).
I have kind of started this trend of telling random facts about myself in my STYLE GURU BIO and I don’t want to break that delightful streak so round four, lets go! Again, this will be random so work with me. During this summer, in addition to being a fantastic Style Guru for my favorite site, I will be working as a sales associate at Nordstrom. Even though I have worked there for a year now, I am still so excited every morning when I go to work, and why wouldn’t I be? I am surrounded by stylish co-workers and fabulous customers who all share the same passion for fashion. It’s a win-win situation all around. Another fun fact is that I am low-key very obsessed with coffee shops. My mom and I have always made a habit of going to local coffee shops when I was growing up, but now that I am older and spend more time running around town alone, I’ve realized that coffee shops are like one of my favorite places around! Which is strange because I don’t like coffee at all…
I don’t think I could really narrow down my style to one category. I am in this weird, transitional stage where I want to be a really laid-back college student who wears whatever she wants. But then again, I want to be a bit more mature and put-together, especially when I am at work. This outfit is a great example of my style when I go to work at Nordstrom. I am wearing one of my favorite floral blouses, a light wash pair of Topshop jeans and chocolate, wooden heels. My favorite part about getting dressed is picking out accessories, because they can really make or break the look. I chose gold hoops, a Kendra Scott Necklace and my camel colored FitBit Blaze band. Also, I thought my Rebecca Minkoff purse and BeBuddha keychain looked super awesome, so I had to throw those into the mix as well.
