Hello Fashionistas/os! I’m Katie Nist. I currently attend Purdue University. I’m a Jersey girl through and through though. Purdue was the first college I visited and fell in love with at first sight. I also love how it’s in the Big Ten even though we don’t exactly excel in sports. West Lafayette has a small town feel while being home to 40,000 students. That’s part of the reason I wanted it to be my home for four years, since I’m from a small town surrounded by corn fields. Although, I’m not very fond of the Midwest, I’m glad to call Purdue my home!
I’m currently a Finance major. I’m not interested in business as much, but I plan to go more towards a Public Relations path. I’m also minoring in Spanish and hope to become fluent by the time I graduate. I hope to finish out my minor in either Barcelona or Seville, Spain. This is my first year writing for CollegeFashionista and I can’t wait to officially start!
My personal style is all over the place currently, but Ray-Bans are always a staple in whatever I’m wearing. Right now, I’m incredibly happy that the ’90s are coming back in full swing. So, of course I’m rocking the halter tops, chokers and grungy flannels. I’ll also always have a boho style to me, also. A flowy dress with a cute floral print? Sign me up! I’m a floral fanatic. I also enjoy tie-dye and fun prints in general. It just depends on the type of day I’m having if I decide to be all ’90s grunge or have a ’70s boho hippie vibe to me.
