Hey, Fashionistas/os! My name is Katie Gelerman and I am currently a junior at James Madison University in Virginia. I am studying public relations with a minor in educational media and hope to someday become a social media specialist in the fashion or health industry. I am a city girl who’s now fallen in love with the South. I believe in doing whatever makes you happy, always having a cup of coffee in hand, and dressing like every day’s a party.
My hometown, right outside of Boston, MA, is full of vibrant styles on every corner. My style and love for fashion have stemmed from everything I see (and love) while walking the streets of the city. Although I am always open to trying new styles and find myself obsessing over the most random things, I would describe my overall style as boho-chic. Rompers, bodysuits, high-waisted jeans, and booties are a staple in my fall/winter wardrobe. I’m always sad to have to tuck away my summer wardrobe as fall and winter approach but I soon find myself loving the cozy-cute look of a perfect wintry top, jeans, and my favorite pair of booties. You can find that almost everything in my closet is from Urban Outfitters, Free People or Pacsun.
The look that I’m featuring in this article is the definition of a perfect winter look in my book. The top has a sophisticated feel with a trendy twist while the simple dark wash jeans complement both the top and the shoes. Anyone that knows me knows that booties are essential to complete any fall or winter outfit. The neutral brown leather goes with almost anything. I chose to add a long gold necklace to this look to give it an extra pop. You’ll find that every outfit I wear is never complete without a few accessories.
