STYLE GURU BIO: Kate Lowe

Hi, friends! I am back and ready for action, and not to mention, so incredibly excited to be here for another semester with CollegeFashionista! Not only am I excited to post articles on the monthly, but I’m especially excited for the fall season. Sweater weather is better weather, am I right, ladies? As long as it’s not snowing, it’s all good in my hood.

For starters, fall is my favorite season. I get to ride out what’s left of the heat wave and cooly coast until the dead of winter rips away all of my happiness. An exaggeration, I know, but winter is acceptable for…about a week, and then I’m over it. This year, my fall apparel is inspired by how I’m currently feeling about the upcoming cold weather. I’m going to try and show off this (fleeting) bronze glow for as long as I can until the goosebumps permanently kick in.

The outfit I’m sporting follows this plan to a T. Embracing the soon-to-come fall weather, I’m wearing a pair of high-waisted Levi Brand Jeans. These will be perfect for any fall outing. Whether I’m tailgating a football game, heading to class or wandering the streets of New York City, these jeans are comfortable and versatile enough for doing almost anything. Holding on to every last bit of warm weather, I’m wearing an off-the-shoulder top. Its snug, sweater material will keep my top half warm while my shoulders are out to play. I’m also wearing a pair of white, leather sneakers for some added contrast and comfort to my outfit. Lastly, I never leave the house without my Ray-Bans sunglasses or my beloved arm candy and necklaces.

Here’s to another fabulous semester!
