Greetings to all fashion enthusiasts out there! My name is Kamila Jambulatova and this is my third semester writing for CollegeFashionista. For the past two semesters my love for CollegeFashionista has grown enormously, and I couldn’t be more excited for the new website.
During the summer, I wrote for AROUND TOWN and words cannot explain how much I enjoyed it. It gave me an opportunity to meet and interview many amazing and talented people. From stylists to bloggers to boutique owners, all of them were some of the nicest, beautiful and inspiring people I’ve ever met. Meeting people who are as passionate about beauty and fashion as I am was such a fun experience. I was able to learn, laugh and just have an all-around good time.
This semester I will be traveling to Milan, Italy, the fashion capital of the world. I believe this city will enhance my fashion sense, and I can’t wait for my style to evolve. The streets, the people and even the language will inspire me to experiment with my clothes as well as with my writing. I think for the past year and half I’ve been longing for a big city life. Don’t get me wrong, Missouri is great, but museums, art, fashion and culture of Milan are on another level.
My style has changed during the past two semesters, but some things stayed the same. I still love blazers, lace and chunky necklaces. I usually wear dresses all the time, but my new jeans are too comfortable to not wear. I love oversized clothes and dark colors, and I can’t stop/won’t stop loving my ombre hair. I can’t wait to go shopping in Milan, so tune in for my weekly articles to see what Europe and the new semester will bring to my wardrobe!
