Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Kabrea Hayman and I am a new Style Guru for summer 2016. I am a rising junior at the University of Maryland-College Park. My major is studio art, focusing on painting, sculpting and drawing.
While my studies includes fine arts, I very much enjoy exploring other visual arts such as fashion. Hopefully after graduating, I will be able to use what I learn in fine arts and apply that to the creative process in the fashion industry. I want use my eye for detail and color to produce strong visuals for fashion companies. When I’m not painting or drawing, I’m most likely watching Jane the Virgin, Grey’s Anatomy, Vampire Diaries, The Leftovers and Bates Motel. Over the past years, I’ve tried to broaden my TV series horizons as you can tell.
My style can go from girly one day to tomboy the next day. The type of style I choose to wear all depends on the mood or look I’m going for that day. I do not have any preference of any style over another, as long as I like it and it looks good. Although I like many styles, I do tend to be seen wearing a lot of over-sized and loose clothing. The outfit you see above in the pictures was something I just put together starting based off of my shoes. A simple flannel with crop top from Forever21, ripped jeans from Zara and white high-top Vans. This look is something I wear on a typical average day.
