I’m so excited for my second semester as a Style Guru! I’ve always been so interested in fashion and following trends ever since I was a little kid. I’m a neuroscience major with intent to go to dental school, but don’t let that fool you. I love a good shopping spree and love reading fashion blogs in my free time. A lot of my friends always say that I know the trends before they come out and I can thank the blogs I follow for that. I’m always looking for new things to incorporate into my wardrobe as well as things that I can change.
I sometimes love splurging for a good heel but am always down for a good deal. I am absolutely obsessed with the clear strap heels I got myself for my 21st birthday in July. Kanye West came out with heels just like this a couple months ago and the prices were insane. I figured it a mission to look for similar shoes for a way cheaper price and luckily I found them! They’re my new favorite thing and I can literally wear them with anything. Another trend that I’m currently obsessed with is chokers. I wore chokers everywhere I went when I was in second grade and now they’re making a comeback. A little spin off of the choker is the bandana around the neck look. It’s also awesome that bandanas are so cheap because it makes it so so easy to follow this cute, affordable trend. Lately, I’ve been really interested in nude colored clothing. This strappy, effortless top I’m wearing is perfect for the hot weather while still looking fab and comfortable.
I’m looking forward to embarking on yet another semester with CollegeFashionista and am so excited to see the new, fun trends for back to school!
