Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Johanna Beierle and this is the start of my journey as a Style Guru! I just finished my freshman year at Simpson College and I am majoring in public relations. I cannot wait to share my love of fashion and writing through CollegeFashionista.
I would describe my personal style as random. My closet is filled with any and all styles of clothing. I don’t like to be held down to one fashion style so I love mixing it up. I can go from an all black grunge outfit to a preppy/girly ensemble in a days time. I love that fashion is always changing and evolving and so am I. Currently, I am loving more boho pieces such as off-the-shoulder tops and chokers. My favorite stores at the moment are Free People, Red Dress Boutique and always Forever 21. I am all about affordable clothing so when I have the chance, I find look-alike clothing in more affordable stores such as Forever 21.
The outfit I chose today is an everyday look for me that you can wear grad party hopping, out to lunch, or even window shopping downtown. This is my go-to look for a casual day. I am wearing a Forever 21 flowy tank that is just the right amount of casual but classy. I paired it with my blue jeans from American Eagle Outfitters. Their jeans are extremely comfortable and are the only jeans I wear. I added my Joe Fresh long cardigan for a cooler summer day and my Target nude wedges. I finished off the look with some statement earrings, my Alex and Ani bracelets, and my favorite Steve Madden cross-body bag. Just enough accessories to keep this look casual but still chic.
