Hi everyone! My name is Jessa Gianotti and I am a senior at The College of New Jersey—and still in denial about it. This is my fourth semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista and I can’t wait to start writing again this fall after a summer of working as an editorial intern. In addition to writing, I’ll also be interning at the CollegeFashionista office in New York City this semester and I couldn’t be more excited!
I am a Journalism and Professional Writing major with a Marketing minor. I hope to find a career somewhere in the fashion industry when I graduate this year, whether it be writing for a fashion publication or working for a designer or company in a related position. I fell into this profession when I started writing for Her Campus at my school during my sophomore year, and now I am the deputy editor for the organization on my campus. Luckily, when I was on Pinterest one day pinning for the Her Campus account, I stumbled across CollegeFashionista and have been in love ever since!
Around campus, you can usually always find me wearing something preppy, whether be a button-down shirt or a J.Crew vest. That is, when I’m not wearing some form of my sorority’s apparel and a pair of Sperry Top-Siders. I am, however, loving some trends this season, like kimonos and harem pants. I’m so excited so see what new trends I spot on all of you Fashionistas this semester and can’t wait to see what this season has in store for the world of college fashion.
