Hey there fashion lovers! My name is Jasmine Crawl and I am writing all the way from Miami. I am 21 years old and a senior at Florida International University. Currently I am studying public relations and retail marketing.
My love for fashion started at a young age when I started subscribing to various fashion magazines. I’ve worked in numerous fashion retailers such as Hollister Co. and Victoria’s Secret. I recently finished my first internship with Nordstrom last summer.
I aspire to one day become a buyer, but I’ve always wanted to explore editorial fashion. This area has fascinated me for awhile, but I’ve always been to afraid to give it a try. One day I was talking to my friend about it and he mentioned CollegeFashionista. I went to the site and thought it was absolutely brilliant. I loved seeing the different ways people express themselves through their style. In this look I’m wearing one of my favorite new items, a Topshop leather biker jacket. I added my go-to item, classic white Converse All-Star tennis shoes. To top the look off, Alex and Ani bracelets, my favorite arm candy.
One of my favorite ways to meet people are through random fun facts, so here are a few of mine: 1. I am a native of South Florida. I was born in Miami Beach and raised in Pembroke Pines and Coral Springs. 2. Since I have not lived anywhere but South Florida, I would love to move to either California (north or south), Georgia, Nashville, Austin or London. Random, I know. 3. I love all kinds of music but country is one of my top favorites and surprising to most. 4. My first country concert was Tim McGraw and it was absolutely perfect. 5. I’m a huge Disney fan, and it is between Aladdin and Lion King for my favorite movie. 6. My favorite sports in chronological order of most favorite to newly favorite are: Tennis, Football, Baseball and Soccer. 7. My style icon then and now is Audrey Hepburn and Zendaya Williams. I love the classic look of both ladies, but I really love the edge and simplicity of Zendaya’s style.
