Hi everyone! My name is Jane Claire Kimbrough and I’m so excited to be a Style Guru for a second semester! My personal style is definitely a mixture of trendy and classic. I try to achieve a look that is unique to me and reflects my personality. I am still currently obsessed with 1970s and 1960s inspired ensembles. Another great love of mine is fringe; I can’t get enough.
In my look, I am wearing my favorite pair of 7 For All Mankind skinny jeans. In my opinion, everyone needs a pair of really good multipurpose jeans. They need to be both fashionable and comfortable! My statement piece for this outfit is my H&M fringe knit sweater. I like the fact that H&M was able to stylishly combine the vintage vibe of the suede fringe with the classic appeal of the patterned cardigan. I decided to pair my sweater with a simple black long-sleeve shirt that I also purchased from H&M. While many of my pieces are new, my chunky heeled leather boots are an old favorite. I bought them well over a year ago from Lucky Brand and they are still in great condition! I’m on the petite, or short, side so I love a little bit of a heel on my boots to give me some additional height.
When it comes to accessories, I personally believe less is more. As you might notice, I am not wearing any jewelry in my look. I simply threw on a cute wide-brimmed Brixton hat to top off my outfit.
