Hello! My name is Jackie, and this is my second semester with CollegeFashionista. I will be a senior at Manhattan College in September. Even though I am majoring in psychology, I am a personal stylist in New York-I get the best of both worlds. On my days off (if I’m lucky), I like to have some time to myself, hang out in SoHo with my friends, read fashion magazines, go out to eat, go shopping and go to the beach.
If I were to categorize my style, I wouldn’t be able to because I wear so many different styles and trends. However, my top three styles would be chic, boho and edgy. I recently started a new Instagram where I show all of my styling tips and post inspiration pictures daily, so I can try and influence others to wear what they want.
In this look, I chose a boho/casual style. My new jeans (that I am currently obsessed with and cuffed at the bottom) are a grey light wash, which I paired with white low-top sneakers and a white T-shirt. With my outfit, I chose solid white sneakers, but you can also pair this outfit with white sneakers that have another pattern or symbol on them. I put a tribal pattern cardigan over this outfit to add texture and more subtle colors (but you can also pair this outfit with a cardigan that has a different color palette). I also added a black velvet choker, that I basically wear every day.
