As we enter the new year, I love reflecting back to old photos in my favorite outfits of the year. One of my personal favorite looks is a simple, but sexy, go-to outfit for any day of the week: an outfit casual enough to walk to class, yet dressy enough to go on a date.
The ripped boyfriend jeans paired with a black, off-the-shoulder body suit, and my favorite nude heels, make for a hip, but still chic look. To add some color to this outfit, I threw on hot pink lipstick. Remember pink never goes out of season! I also contoured my face to define and highlight my best facial features. My hair is in a simple, everyday look wave. To accessorize, I wore a black choker necklace aligned with a gold bar necklace. The two necklaces compliment each other well, believe it or not. Lastly, I wore my favorite Kate Spade crossbody bag, which was another nude color to match my pumps.
This outfit fits me perfectly as I live in South Carolina, and December has those occasional 75-degree weather days. Besides the temperature being comfortable, the material of clothing is very important for comfort as well. Boyfriend jeans are the most comfortable pants I have ever worn… well, right next to my favorite Netflix watching sweats! Being comfortable in clothes is what leads to confidence that shows your true beauty. I can already see myself carrying this outfit into the new year as well.
