STYLE GURU BIO: Isabella Parker

Hi! I’m Isabella Parker and I’m starting my second year at Marywood University. I’m majoring in Interior Architecture, of which I love the design aspect. Design is related to anything: art, fashion, architecture and interior architecture. Even though I’m majoring in an architectural field, that doesn’t limit me on what I can do. It’s still all related to design, and I’ve always had an interest in fashion design.

To me, fashion really describes someone’s personality. It’s who you are, and I love finding new inspirations from someone else’s personal style. I would say my style is very bohemian and earth tones really appeal to me. The natural look you get maybe wearing a taupe color top with some printed bell-bottoms just speaks to me. I try to always buy clothes that I can wear all year round, so most of the colors are pretty much the same all year, except for maybe the difference between the way a summer sun dress is fitted than a wintery dress. I love Urban Outfitters, Free People and also any local Salvation Army! Some of my best tops come from Salvation Army.

I’m really excited to expand my knowledge on fashion and be able to recognize other people’s passion for design and creativity. This is definitely going to be a different experience for me, but I’m looking forward to being able to explore my creativity involving fashion. Everyone should be recognized for their own individual style, and I can’t wait to discover new looks!
