Well hello there, Fashionistas/os! My name is Holly Zmijewski and I am a junior studying marketing at Eastern Michigan University. Fashion and beauty have been something that have always interested me for as long as I can remember. I used to have fashion shows all the time in my basement when I was little, thanks to my wonderful mother! I am extremely excited to be writing for CollegeFashionista this semester and I can’t wait to share all of the fashion that is trending on my campus.
My style tends to vary between an oversized flannel and my slip on Steve Madden shoes to bohemian flowing shirts with cute booties. I love adding very trendy pieces to my outfits but I also enjoy a simplistic look as well. If you took a quick glance into my closet, you would mostly see neutral colors, my favorite being olive green! For this look, I went for a chic, yet very cozy kind of look. I paired this mauve turtleneck sweater and ripped black jeans with my favorite black booties. I’m always wearing these to classes during the week and when I go out on the weekends. Let’s not forget about the metallic Steve Madden sunglasses to put the cherry on top!
Expressing yourself through your outfit is something that I think is so powerful. There is no right or wrong to the way that you choose to style your clothes. My enormous love for clothes and fashion leads to my even bigger shopping addiction. I love inspiring people to wear new types of clothing and rocking them of course!
