Hey Fashionistas! My name is Hayley Holmes and this will be my first semester as a Style Guru. I will be a sophomore at Bradley University this coming fall. I am majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Social Media Marketing. I have a passion for being creative and dream of a successful career pursuing what I love. If you were ever to see me, I most likely will have a smile on my face. I love radiating positivity and ambition no matter what the circumstance. I have a love for coffee, Instagram, music and I am consistently dreaming of California.

I have always had a passion for fashion. I believe that your style reflects your personality, as well as the mood you are in on any given day. Being from a small town, I consistently saw the same outfit and style over and over again. Many people never drifted away from the “norm.” Going away to college is when the doors really opened. I had always known and dressed myself to the beat of my own drum. Being away allowed me to finally see others doing the same. College has been eye-opening and has made me love fashion more than ever.

I have asked friends and acquaintances several times how they would describe my style. I always tend to get similar yet different responses. The answers usually range from boho and edgy, to classy and expensive. My style definitely holds true to these unique opposites. I dress how I feel. In the summer you can find me in high-waisted shorts, tie-dye and Converse. When winter comes around, you’ll find me in riding boots, a printed oversized sweater and a peacoat. From the beachy hippie to total sorority, my style range is diverse and eclectic. As far as shopping goes, you can find me at the nearest Marshalls, Forever 21, Windsor, American Eagle Outfitters or Macy’s. My purses are and forever will be Steve Madden, and I cannot go anywhere without my spritz of Jimmy Choo perfume (your scent is a key piece to your style too right?)!

I can’t wait to share my fashion finds with you all!
