In the seventh grade, I decided to wear a brown polka dot tank-top with an orange plaid skirt, to which an older lady insincerely told me, “I love how you just mix-match patterns!” Completely mortified of my fashion choices, I vowed from that point on to always be stylish. And thus, a Fashionista was born!
Hey everybody! My name is Hannah and I am so unbelievably excited to join the CollegeFashionista team as a Style Guru this semester! I am currently a junior at Penn State University majoring in advertising with a minor in IST.
I have grown up quite a bit from my seventh grade mix-matching days and have grown a deep love for all things fashion. What can I say, fashion is my passion!
I think you can tell a lot about a person by what their go-to outfit is. The outfit they wear if they wake up late for school/work or the outfit they wear when they’re too lazy to put something together. My go-to outfit is definitely jeggings, a cozy sweater and, of course, my black booties.
My style is a bit all over the place. You can find me wearing a lace dress and dainty necklaces one day and then see me wear black skinny jeans and a choker the next. That’s my favorite thing about fashion though; it is so versatile. Everybody’s style is unique and interesting. I’ve always loved getting inspiration from the creative outfits I encounter, so I hope I can inspire all of you with my posts about the Fashionistas around me.
