Born and raised in New Jersey, I’m a vivacious Gemini born during the best month ever! Not only is the weather super beautiful in June, but it’s a great time to go to the beach. The beach is one of my favorite places on earth. Soaking up the sun and swimming in the ocean never gets old.
Since birth, I’ve had a passion for fashion, and luckily I got accepted into the Fashion Institute of Technology. Not only is it in the most amazing city in the world, but there are so many different types of people attending FIT. Students from all over the world mesh so well together to form the most fashionable school ever. I have learned so much about my personal style from living in NYC. One of my favorite things to do is scope out the sample sales. I check online for all of the sample sales going on during the month, and attend every single one I’m interested in. Most of the popular ones are actually right down the street from FIT! Once you get to the sale, there’s a coat and bag check. This is always nice because no one likes to shop with a winter coat and a backpack! The best part of sample sales: the prices. You’re getting almost perfect branded merchandise for a fraction of the price!
Besides shopping at sample sales, Zara is hands down my favorite store to shop in. The prices are so reasonable, the clothes are on-trend and the quality is up to par. My style is trendy but simple. I wear a lot of black, navy, gray and white—typical NYC look. In the spring/summer, I’m in head to toe white. Then, in the winter, I’m in head to toe black. You’ll rarely ever find me in any other shoe besides sneakers, unless I’m going to work. I wish sneakers were acceptable footwear for every occasion. I hope you guys like my upcoming posts!
