Hello, Fashionistas! I’m Ashleigh Lentz from Kent State University in Ohio. This is my senior year as a Fashion Merchandising major and an Accessories minor. This is my first semester as a Style Guru, and I cannot say how excited I am to report my fashion findings.
My style is very low maintenance. I like to be able to mix and match most of my wardrobe and take little time to put together my outfits. My looks can go from very pink and feminine to old band T-shirts and combat boots. In terms of beauty and makeup, I go for the au natural look with a hint of mascara and light hairspray. Accessories are my game. No matter what day of the week, I am always decked out with big statement rings and layering necklaces or chunky bangles and bold earrings.
This outfit is perfect for transitioning into fall because the knit fringe cape I am wearing is lightweight and very breathable. The skinny jeans I am wearing are low cut ankle jeans in a dark maroon, which is the statement color for this fall season. Accents of gold in my bracelet, earrings and my vintage Dolce&Gabbana sunglasses give this outfit a nice color pop against the more neutral palette. The combat boots balance out the more feminine fringe cape and add a sense of edge.
I’m so grateful for this opportunity. I’m making it my personal goal to make my reports and photos as creative as possible this semester! This is just the beginning with so much more to come.
