STYLE GURU BIO: Erin Slomers

Hello there! My name is Erin Slomers. I am a sophomore at Harding University, studying public relations, with a minor Spanish. This is my first time writing for CollegeFashionista and I am so excited! I’m passionate about animals, social rights issues, and fashion! I am a free spirited vegan who loves to travel. In fact being a vagabond is my dream job.

When it comes to fashion, I wouldn’t say I have one set style. I love to try new things and change it up. I believe change is a good thing and an easy way to implement change into your life is through fashion. I’m a big fan of cardigans and basic tops because they are versatile and easy to mix and match. Also, layers are a great thing! I do have one fashion rule I always follow: wearing animals is never fashion forward.

I aspire to live in an Anthropology catalog and embody their aesthetic. As well as embrace minimalism in the new year. My style has changed so much over the years and I have collected so many different style pieces that I really need to declutter. Minimalism is great for that and I hope it also helps me declutter my life.

To get my look I am wearing a chunky knit cardigan, a sweater detailed with lace, a small over the shoulder vegan leather bag, and lace up flats.

I can not wait to see what opportunities CollegeFashionista has to present before me this semester. To follow along with me on my journey you can check back here, or follow me on my social media accounts. I hope you all have a RAD semester and a great new year!
