Hey guys! Welcome to the spring semester of my Style Guru internship. My name is Erica, and this is my first time interning for CollegeFashionista! I was inspired to to apply for the Style Guru position because I wanted to change my look and share it with those that share the same passion for fashion.
I was born and raised in Englewood, New Jersey. Being that my town is so close to New York City, I always took every chance I could to explore the big city. I think my biggest inspiration was the women of Sex and the City. Their work ethic, fashion and friendship is something I have admired since first watching the show and are all things I have come to embody as a growing young woman. My style has evolved to business causal with a modern twist. I’m always keeping up with the latest fashion trends. Since I do a lot of PR work, it is important I look business appropriate. My Marc by Marc Jacobs watch, Forever 21 leather jacket and Erika Ray-Ban sunglasses are my favorite staples.
Today I attend Pennsylvania State University where I am majoring in public relations and minoring in English. By interning for CollegeFashionista, I hope to expand my creativity because as a public relations major, I have to be creative in everything I do. Public relations is my dream career because I have to look my best at all times for the people I represent! I am excited to start this journey with the CollegeFashionista team and community.
