STYLE GURU BIO: Eliza Huber

Hi there Fashionistas/os! I see that you have all found your way to my third STYLE GURU BIO since starting the ride of my life with CollegeFashionista last August. It has been nothing short of spectacular and I know that things are only getting better and more stylish. This semester will be my first as a member of the CollegeFashionista Social Media Society and I will also be joining the #RAD CollegeFashionista team in the New York City offices. I cannot wait to share all of my fashion finds on the streets while I am there.

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Eliza and I am an incoming junior studying Marketing with a focus in Retail at the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. I love nothing more that waking up super early and strolling to my favorite independent book store and coffee shop for a latte, croissant and yet another biography on The Beatles. If you are also a mega-fan like me, feel free to check out my Pinterest board on them. Everything I love has impacted my style in one way or another throughout my life.

Although like most fashion-fanatics, my style has changed a lot over the years, it has always had a classic and parisian feel, with a touch of grunge and some boho here and there. If I get a new pair of great shoes, I will wear them everyday until they fall apart, I basically live in my Carven graphic T-shirts and sweatshirts and more than half of my wardrobe is black. It is by far the best color. Basically, my style is ever-changing but always definitive of who I am.

I truly believe that change is good, which is why I am picking up everything and heading to New York City in only a few short days. I would love for you all to join me in my adventures by following my posts and checking out my social media. Everyone knows your brunch can live on way after you have taken the last bites with the help of a well lit and angled Instagram photo.
