Hello, Fashionistas/os! My name is Dennisha Mitchell and I am a senior at Chicago State University studying Public Relations. Born and bred on the South Side of Chicago, I am a fashion enthusiast who developed a deep love for style at a very young age.
Fashion is one of those things that I am always excited about. Since I will be graduating college soon, I am faced with trying to choose a career path. Landing a position in the fashion industry is my goal and would be a dream come true. You know what people say: “choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Sounds good to me!
Here are a few things about me: I watch YouTube fashion and beauty videos all day, every day. I love basketball and my favorite team is the Miami Heat (yes, I’m still a Heat fan after LeBron’s move back to Cleveland). I coach junior varsity cheerleading at my old high school. I could eat pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Shay Mitchell is my style inspiration because she puts together the cutest looks (and we share the same last name).
I like to describe my style as very minimal and classic. I love oversized cropped sweaters like the one I’m wearing because they are super comfortable, but cute at the same time. My envelope skort is from Express and is my favorite piece of the look. Wedges are always number one on my list because they are easy to walk in and still give an outfit that extra touch of stylishness. I can’t wait to begin this journey with CollegeFashionista! This semester is off to a RAD start!
