Hi all, my name is Danica, but you can call my Dan if you’d like. I’m a returning Style Guru and I’m so excited for another great semester filled with fashion. I am a graduating senior at California State University of Northridge, searching for style inspiration all around Los Angeles county. My style is clean and simple and I am a believer that you can never own too much black.
My favorite textile to wear is leather. Again, you can never own too much black, especially if it’s black leather. My collection of leather jackets and leather boots have been growing at an unhealthy rate, and I’m actually pretty okay with it. I’m a sucker for neutrals. I love nude, white and gray shades because you can never go wrong with the classics.
I like to play around with the concept of androgyny. One day, I like to feel feminine and fun with a pair of sexy thigh-high boots. Other days, I feel quite masculine and all I want to do is throw on a pair of baggy jeans and sneakers.
Fashion trends are constantly changing, and I’m definitely a trend follower and innovator. I love to interpret trends into my daily wardrobe and analyze what works for me and what doesn’t. Hopefully I can bring in more insights on the latest trends this semester and how I embrace these trends!
