Hello, friends! My name is Cristina Espinosa and I am a junior at Monmouth University majoring in Communications with a concentration in Journalism and Public Relations. This semester I will be studying abroad at Regent’s University London, which is super exciting! I have never been to Europe and I can’t wait to explore and check out all the beautiful fashion overseas!
This is my second semester as a Style Guru and I couldn’t be more excited. I didn’t know what to expect my first semester, but I have really come to love being a Style Guru. I have always loved fashion and CollegeFashionista has helped me appreciate it more.
When I was younger, I would spend hours looking for the perfect outfit to wear just to go to school. I love going through my closet and finding outfit combinations that I’ve never tried before. My style is more simple and casual, but I do love to dress up from time to time.
In this look I was going for a casual yet fashionable look that can be worn many places including the first day of classes. I am wearing a simple white t-shirt that I tied into a knot to change the length to meet the top of my jeans, which are from Garage. I paired this look with my favorite slides from Lucky Brand. I just love how comfortable yet put together this outfit looks.
I am wearing a backpack from Nine West, which I have become obsessed with because it’s the perfect size and seems to go with everything! I have recently taken it with me while traveling and it was perfect to use in the airport and while out exploring. I am also wearing a simple watch from Fossil to add a little something extra to complete the look.
I cannot wait for this semester to officially begin and I hope you join me on the journey!
