STYLE GURU BIO: Courtney Bowman

Hi everyone! My name is Courtney and this is my first semester interning with CollegeFashionista. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio but I am currently studying at the University of New Hampshire. As an occupational therapy student as well as a Division I volleyball player, I don’t find many opportunities for free time. However, when I do, I love to spend it checking out the newest trends and getting fashion inspiration from others on my campus!

As a busy student, my style tends to be comfy yet trendy. Cute sneakers, T-shirts, and cardigans are usually my go-to outfit choices for class. I love being comfortable but also fashionable when I’m walking around campus.

One word that is most important to me when it comes to fashion is “unique.” I always love to do something different than those around me. Everyone has their own, unique fashion style which makes them feel the most beautiful and confident. So when you use this outfit for inspiration, make sure you add some of your own favorites to make it uniquely you!

For this article I wanted to show what I typically wear on a cold day for classes. I chose a basic, comfy band T-shirt with a cozy cardigan as an extra layer. My basic black jeans are perfect for all seasons and always come in handy when rushing to class. I love to layer different jewelry pieces like bracelets, rings, and necklaces, especially gold jewelry. For my unique twist, I wore this outfit with an edgy pair of sneakers. Rather than the typical Converse, I chose a pair of sneakers with a different design that are as equally comfortable!

I can’t wait to spend the rest of the semester with you all on CollegeFashionista. See you soon!
