Hi Fashionistas/os! My name is Claudia Guarglia and I will be a junior this fall studying at Sacred Heart University. I am currently a marketing major with a minor in fashion merchandising. I would describe my personal style as classy meets trendy. I love to stay true to my pearls, while also trying the latest military-inspired look. Classic and traditional accessories are a way to keep true to your style while stepping out of the box and trying new trends. The necklaces I am wearing, for example, are a great way to personalize a trendy outfit. Monogram necklaces are becoming all the rage on college campuses today. The way that I layered my two personalized necklaces is a great way to make a trend unique to your personality. As seen here, I am wearing white sneakers to make my military-inspired dress practical, yet fashion forward.
I enjoy seeing how different people change different looks depending on what accessories they choose to wear. Using inspiration from the personal looks of others is a way to try new trends, as well as spice up the old. Trends will come and go, but how you individualize your own outfit is what makes it your own great style.
