I am a girly girl. I love everything sparkly, pink, purple, leopard, shiny, the list goes on and on. I always have my nails done (pedi included) because to me, having well-manicured nails is just as much of a statement as a chunky necklace. I also have an insane handbag addiction. I had to start selling some of my collection on eBay to be able to support my habit!
Over the past two years I have lost a total of 65 pounds. I am in the process of creating a completely new wardrobe, down from a size 14 to a size six now. I find myself wanting to try new looks I never quite felt comfortable in before, so you all will be on this journey with me!
Like I said, I love pink and neon colors. I’m wearing a J.Crew tank top which is super comfortable, which is perfect for the summertime! I’ve paired it with a light wash pair of shorts that are a little distressed with a frayed-edge detail.
No matter what color scheme I’ve got going on, I’m usually in some kind of wedge or heel. I’m a short lady, only 5’3”, so anything to elongate my legs is a plus. Here I’m wearing G.I.L.I. wedges, actually from QVC, a little shopping secret my mama taught me! These are a great neutral color and the straps and gold plated toe piece add a little fun.
And of course, I would never be seen without one of my handbags. Here is my newest cross-body, a kate spade in “Alice Blue,” which is such an amazing color. The pink top and blue bag may seem a little overpowering together, but they complement each other nicely.
