STYLE GURU BIO: Christina Golka

My name is Christina Golka and I am so excited to be a part of the stylin’ CollegeFashionista team!

I am a fifth year (super senior, woo!) Communications/Journalism major at California State University, Fullerton. I believe that this major will ultimately guide me into achieving my goal of becoming a renowned fashion blogger and writer. Ugh, a girl can dream, can’t she?

Anyway, fashion has been and always will be my first love and passion. I appreciate absolutely everything about it. From tank tops, to oversized necklaces, to flannel button-downs, to my bright purple Nike shoes, I love it all! Picking and choosing what I am going to wear everyday gives me a sense of confidence that I don’t usually carry.

Looking back on it, I realize that I inherited a lot of my trendiness from my older sister. She is the definition of runway fabulous. Every day, no matter what the occasion may be, she is always dressed to impress (which is definitely a good quality to have considering you never know who you are going to meet). Because of my sister, my love for style, clothing and everything glam has only grown into an obsession that I proudly and confidently own up to!

I am currently obsessed with my high-slit, plaid mini dress that I recently purchased on a spring break trip to the Big Apple. It’s suitable for almost every season and has a sneaky way of completing the outfits that I pair it with. My style is and will always consist of dark colors, a disgusting amount of layering and a ’90s-inspired, black tattoo choker that I will never take off.

Keep in touch as I follow fellow Fashionistas around my campus in the OC!
