STYLE GURU BIO: Cassie Cohen

Hi everyone! My name is Cassie Cohen and, as you can probably tell, I am a Style Guru for Boston University. Forgive me if this bio is a little rough—this is my first semester as a Style Guru and being a notorious scatterbrain currently obsessed with many things leaves little wiggle room when deciding what to include here. I am proudly addicted to SoulCyle, iced coffee, off-the-shoulder shirts, bootcut jeans in any and every color, and the lovely city I call my home away from home, Boston. Although I am undeniably a New Yorker at heart, Boston has given me two amazing years so far, and I could not be happier to have two more to look forward to after this summer. With over 250,000 college students in and around the city alone, Boston has provided me with life and style inspiration like you wouldn’t believe. Each part of the city, and respective college or university there, adopts its own unique style that somehow fits perfectly into the jigsaw puzzle of Boston.

However wonderful Boston is, I will always be happy to call New York home. Over the years, I have run up and down the streets of New York with my eyes open and ready for mental note-taking. The architecture, decorations, stores and, of course, the people, have had a major influence on the formation of my style, and continue to do so with every trip. As I grew up with a Fashionisto father, I was exposed early to the wonderful industry and all it has to offer. I am so excited to be able to add CollegeFashionista to the list of people and organizations that have helped me in my pursuit to become Anna Wintour, or close to her. Thanks for stopping by!
