Hello, gorgeous! My name is Caroline Lawley, and I am entering my sophomore year at Lipscomb University. I am very happy with picking Nashville! There is always something to do such as free concerts (Live on the Green Music Festival anyone?) and that is very important for a girl like me who is always on the run. I am majoring in Entrepreneurship with two minors in Finance and Fashion Merchandising. I am not too sure yet where I want to go with it, but my Nordstrom B.P. Fashion Board experience led me to an interest in being a personal stylist and eventually running my own boutique or hair salon. Ultimately, my goal is to help people of all ages present themselves appropriately, while at the same time providing a sense of excitement about the fashion of their choice. It is my desire to help people stretch themselves without losing a sense of who they are.
This will be my first time as a Style Guru intern and I cannot wait to enjoy the ride! Nashville is home to numerous stylish people who love to be adventurous with how they express themselves. My personal style can be very classic cool and modern, but a tad edgy at the same time. I wear lots of black and white and am crazy about sunglasses! I own all kinds of different shapes to get the perfect variety of fun and classy. One of my favorite things about fashion is that it gives everyone a chance to take chances. Surely not everyone you pass everyday on campus is going to love what you are wearing, but that is the best part!
