STYLE GURU BIO: Cameron Quinn

Hi Fashionistas! My name is Cameron Quinn and much like all of you, I am fashion-obsessed. I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and I’m currently going to school at Ohio University. As I’m approaching my final year of college, I’m hoping to pursue my passion in fashion and public relations in New York City after I graduate.

My love for clothes and accessories began at a young age when my friend and I decided we were going to make our own fashion magazine in the fifth grade. Ever since, I have been dressing myself in the daily trends and gaining more knowledge of my own personal style.

Attending a college in a small town like Athens, Ohio, I’ve learned that I can get away with pretty much any type of outfit. If I want to throw on leggings and a sweatshirt, there’s a good chance that majority of campus is wearing something similar.

However, if there’s one thing that makes me feel most confident, it’s a cute set of clothes hanging color-coordinated in my closet. Every morning I’ll wake up to a new set of options and from that point on I know I can leave my apartment feeling comfortable and cute. I love simplicity but detail is always something I work towards. Comfort is also huge because who wants to sit through a two hour lecture in 75-degree weather in the wrong clothes?

For this, I have put together my cute and comfy go-to. There’s nothing like clothing with a flowy feel that makes you feel relaxed. Free People is one of my favorite stores for a flowy, boho ensemble. The top I’m wearing in the pictures above is Free People and the classic white shorts are from H&M.

As far as accessories go, although I must retire the shoes, they are a personal fave from Urban Outfitters. Here are a similar pair from American Eagle! My purse is something I take with me almost everywhere when white is appropriate for the season. Rebecca Minkoff makes some of my absolute favorite cross-body purses and the selection for both nude and white purses is almost endless!

Thanks for reading Fashionistas! I can’t wait to share more with you all this semester. xx
