Fashion. What is fashion? Fashion can be a distinctive yet habitual trend within the look of someone’s wardrobe. However, it is more than just the latest trend a popular designer released or the most expensive piece in the store. Fashion is about style. Most importantly, your own style. Everyone’s style is different. Fashion is to be yourself, what you love and what makes you, you.
My name is Caitlyn Warakomski and I am pleased to announce that this is my third semester as a Style Guru for Temple University. I am currently a Junior majoring in Communications with a concentration in Art Direction in Advertising. Although fashion is not really a part of my major, it has always been something I loved and treasured.
I currently am the new buying intern for Kembrel where I assist the head buyer of the clothing company along with the writer and photographer of my best friend and I’s new lifestyle and fashion blog Togs & Tastes.
I am eager to write, photograph and of course get inspired by the style and fashion spring 2013 brings within Temple University and the City of Brotherly Love. However, most importantly, I am eager to share my discoveries with you. I hope to inspire the avid readers of CollegeFashionista, give you advice on how to imitate the Fashionista/o’s look on a college student budget and guide you to incorporate different elements in your own wardrobe.
Keep a look out for my STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK, fellow Fashionista/os. Hopefully I’ll see you around campus. Enjoy!
