STYLE GURU BIO: Brooke Ferrari

My passion for fashion started when I was young. Attending Kent State University, Fashion School has truly brought my passion to life. Dressing up is probably one of my favorite things to do. I have always loved shopping, finding great deals and watching fashion shows, such as Project Runway.

I have constantly had a love for fashion. I love when one of my friends or family members come to me for styling advice and asks what to wear for different occasions. I like helping others feel their best and that starts with their outfit, the right accessories and, of course, the right pair of shoes. I love inspiring others with my different styled outfits as well as being inspired by others and their sense of style.

Going into my senior year of college as a fashion student, I know that I have made the right decision by following my dreams to pursue a career in fashion. I am also a member of a sorority, Sigma Sigma Sigma. Most of my time is devoted towards working, school and my sorority. However, when I do have free time, I am most likely working out, traveling, reading, sewing and catching up on the latest fashion trends by researching WGSN, Women’s Wear Daily and Vogue magazines. Trend forecasting projects in school were always my favorite. While others dreaded looking up trends, I had an interest in seeing what was new for the upcoming seasons and predicting what creations would outshine other designs in the retail market. After I graduate I plan to pursue a career in trend forecasting for major fashion forward brands.

I am excited to see where this opportunity takes me!
