STYLE GURU BIO: Brittany Arjune

“Say yes to new adventures.

How do you do? I’m Brittany Arjune, a crazy busy, workaholic, art student from little ole Brampton. I’m currently studying in a joint program at a university you may know of called the University of Toronto, but you may not know I’m from the University of Toronto Mississauga campus as well as Sheridan College at the Oakville location!

When I’m not bussing between both campuses trying not to fall asleep in an art history lecture or running on caffeine while printing relentlessly in the print studio from morning to night, I’m most likely at 1 of my 3 jobs: Old Navy, Aerie or being a Student Life Programming Assistant at my university.

I’ve taken a jump head first into working with a lot of aspects of fashion from working in retail, upgrading to working on visuals, doing fashion shoots and now this amazing opportunity to blog for CollegeFashionista! It’s a little nerve-wracking and exhilarating considering that I’ve always secretly loved reading about fashion bloggers and envied them!

This is the part where I tell you all about my history with fashion, but I’ll be honest: I just happen to love it and really enjoy it! Something just sparked after high school; it could be because I started working retail when I started post-secondary. It has become an integral part of me now and I can only hope it continues to bring more amazing experiences in my life because I welcome them all with open arms!

This particular look consists of comfort items that I am growing attached to. I’m guilty of wearing my Versace sunglasses even in the fall, but I can’t help it. It gives me some status as I walk. My leather jacket from Old Navy is my confidence piece; I always feel put together and fierce when I wear it! This beautiful statement necklace was given to me by an amazing blogger Bijuleni. Since I’ve received it, it gets multiple compliments every single time I wear it! These tall black suede boots are the best Black Friday purchase I’ve ever made! They were half off at Brida Shoes! Every girl can admit that we feel great wearing leggings, I can’t deny that! My Old Navy leggings are so comfy, it’s a perfect fit, dare I say!

This is my very first semester writing and photographing for CollegeFashionista and I could not be more excited!

Alright lovelies, let’s make this an amazingly #RAD semester and see what crazy trends pop up for 2016!

P.S: Remember, “not all people are who they post to be.”
