A wise woman once said, “I like my money where I can see it, hanging in my closet.” As a lover of Carrie Bradshaw and extremely high heels, I’ve always strived to have the incredible fashion sense that seems to sprout from the city of New York. Having recently moved to here for another internship at Cosmopolitan Magazine, I’ve learned so much about the fashion sense of New Yorkers. I have always loved eclectic and trendy items and in New York, you can wear whatever you want. The street style here is fresh and it has since inspired me to go outside my style comfort zone and mix prints and patterns in my everyday wardrobe.
I’ve always believed that although people can buy fashion, they cannot buy style. My style idols are a mix of Olivia Palermo and Mary Kate Olsen. My personal style is boho chic with a girly flair. There’s usually not a trend I won’t try once and I love mixing and matching different styles. On a day off, you can find me browsing the racks of Zara, Topshop or Free People. If I’m really in the shopping mood, I’ll be hoping to score some cool vintage pieces at thrift shops.
I am so excited to bring my love of fashion to the University of Missouri by giving my own personal style advice. I hope that I can inspire every fashion junkie on campus the way College Fashionista has inspired me in the past. I’m so excited to be back for another amazing semester of fabulous style.
