Hi Fashionistas/os! My name is Ashley Blair and I’m a rising senior at Lehigh University, where I’m pursuing a major in marketing with a focus in fashion and advertising. I’m so excited to be writing for CollegeFashionista this fall as fashion has been a love of mine since the early stages of tutus and stealing mom’s lipstick.
So, what’s my style? As a 21-year-old, I have tested out nearly every style known to man. Unlike some of my friends who can describe their style in just one word, I have yet to put a title to mine. I believe everyone should be able to design their own style, whether it’s simple and to the point or a unique combination of various styles. While I’m passionate about trying new trends, even if they fail, I love how you can express yourself freely through your clothing. With that being said, you’ll often find that my style follows the latest trends, but more specifically the details to the trends I like most! As of now, I would say my style ranges anywhere from boho, trendy and classy, including my favorite stores: Free People, Urban Outfitters, PacSun and Tory Burch!
A staple in my wardrobe is denim. I love mixing and matching my jean tops and bottoms with neutrals, specifically white. My go-to outfit, as seen in my look today, is a pair of white skinny jeans matched with a jean off-the-shoulder top, Tory Burch espadrilles flats, statement jewelry and, of course, my blue reflective Ray-Bans.
After my experience at my summer internship with Krass & Co., I’ve found myself reaching to Pinterest and Tumblr for my outfit inspirations. I stay up-to-date in the beauty arena thanks to my long list of YouTube beauty gurus who I follow avidly.
