Hello everyone! My name is Annie Wavro and I am currently a junior at Marquette University majoring in Business Marketing and minoring in Public Relations. This is my very first semester writing for CollegeFashionista and I couldn’t be more excited for this opportunity! Fashion has always been a passion of mine and I am excited to share that passion with all of you.
I have been interested in fashion since I was very young. I grew up going to Catholic school which meant wearing uniforms my whole life. While I was in junior high and high school, I loved experimenting with different ways to wear my uniform to try and make it trendy or more unique. I became obsessed with picking out different outfits that expressed my personality and my personal style.
Although I have now moved onto college and no longer have to wear boring uniforms, my style has remained classic and sophisticated. You can normally spot me wearing pearls and flats on a daily basis. In this photo, I am wearing one of my favorite dresses. It is a striped shirt dress from J.Crew that is cute and the most comfortable thing I have ever worn! I love finding practical pieces that I can wear to class on a day to day basis or dress up for different occasions.
The best thing about living in Wisconsin is you get to experience the best and worst of the four seasons. It is frigid cold during the winter and really hot during the summer. As a Fashionista on Marquette’s campus, I have the opportunity of observing the different seasonal trends that range from sundresses and sandals to layering sweaters and scarves.
I am looking forward to scouting out the Fashionistas/Fashionistos on Marquette’s campus and sharing my looks with all of you!
